The latest DataSight release – version 2.9.3 – is now available.

MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2012

DataSight v2.9.3 (Enterprise edition) provides official support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

FILTERING

Three very useful date operators have been added to DataSight’s filtering:

• Last calendar day
• Last calendar month
• Last calendar year

For example, a previous “Date, last month(s), 1” statement run on July 5 will return data from June 5 to July 4. Using the new ‘last calendar month’ operator instead will return data from June 1 to June 30.

These new operators are available in DataSight Enterprise edition only.

SCHEDULING

A new “Email Document” task type is now available to send any document stored in DataSight’s Control Documents.

It is now also possible to enter email subject and body text.

Please note: If you are using scheduled tasks and wish to upgrade to DataSight v2.9.3, all users in your organisation must be running v2.9.2 or later.

FIXES

This DataSight update contains a number of bug fixes.
