The latest upgrade to DataSight version 2.9.6 is available.

REPORT TEMPLATES

Your 2.9.6 DataSight installation now includes complex report templates for Pentad and IDF Curves.

Several other report templates have also been provided in this release to assist you in interrogating your datasets.  This includes a flag report template, audit log report template, a multicolumn bar graph for laboratory analyses, a line graph for time series data with comments box and a weather station report.  Modify them in Report Creator, export them back into DataSight and run them on your filtered datasets.  The report templates will attempt to map the correct variable in each instance – review, adjust and save for future reporting.

UPDATES TO CONVERSION TABLES

The addition of several features related to the Conversion Tables and the Regression Tool will allow for a more robust treatment of your conversion (rating) table data.  The additions include:

• Graphically compare a conversion table with others assigned to the same station in regressions
• Addition of the multipler method to time shifting
• Save comments about your conversion table
• View your assigned conversion tables under Level 3 properties

HELP GUIDE AND WINDOWS SUPPORT

A collection of windows updates, specifically to allow the help file to run, are now included in the installation package for the new release.  We have also restructured parts of the help guide to better illustrate feature alignment and usage.

STRENGTHENING DATASIGHT

• If your raw datetime data is prefixed by a blank space, DataSight will now identify this and correctly import the data.
• When you change the flag on a range of data, you are now given a validation or warning depending upon your choice of flag.
• If your stoplighting values for minimum and goal are the same, this will now be ignored.
• Your datasheet column order now remains the same when you restore a saved view.
• Our continual improvement of DataSight includes minor bug fixes related to the standards form, registry access and user passwords, saved reports, filter panels and conversion table reports.
