The DataSight Administrator tool has been developed to allow Database Administrators a simple method of managing multiple DataSight databases. The tool provides the following tools and information –

• Database information
• Database security administration
• Database maintenance
• Database creation

DataSight Enterprise uses a Microsoft SQL database as its storage vessel. This allows Seveno to focus on the development of DataSight Enterprise ensuring that it remains one of the most simple, flexible but powerful data management tools available.

DataSight Administrator has been designed to assist with the management of the Microsoft SQL Server program. DataSight Administrator does not manage any of the communications between DataSight Enterprise and Microsoft SQL.

Microsoft SQL manages all of the database network resources and multiple access management. Before DataSight Administrator or DataSight Enterprise can be used Microsoft SQL Server must be installed and accessible on the network.
