Seveno DataSight Web Interface, known as DSWeb, has been publicly released after two years of development.  First released internally in August 2006, significant testing and modification of Version 1 has delivered a commercially ready product in Version 2.

DSWeb is a .NET application that is installed on a web server outside of the client’s firewall. From there, DSWeb disseminates data across the internet from DataSight databases. DSWeb enables data imported into DataSight to be immediately available on the internet or intranet.

DSWeb has Username and Password security. The DSWeb Administrator can tailor the user view and DSWeb experience allowing the user to see different data sets depending on their security profile.

The DSWeb Overview Screen provides the user with a customized view providing immediate information on data collected over the past 24 hours (server Time).

This will be further enhanced to include:

• Telemetry alarms
• Data compliance alarms
• Email notifications

Alternatively users can access their sites via a menu tree. When they select a monitoring station they will have access to the variables associated with their security.

DSWeb allows the user to see data across multiple DataSight databases.

Once the user has selected the monitoring station from the Navigation Menu they can select:

• A variable or multiple variables
• A time period
• A date range
• Graphs
• Data sheets, or
• Download the data in CSV format

DSWEB has a complete online Admin Tool allowing the Administrator to:

• Implement user security
• Select databases, stations, variables that the user can access
• Add news items specific to the user
• Set access to the overview screens
• Configure the overview screens
